My Poem "The Plus Side" Featured in "The Daily Drunk"

My poem THE PLUS SIDE just went live in the amazingly funny and wonderful lit mag The Daily Drunk. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the cat illustration for this one. Why? Because ever since I was a little girl my fav cat illustrations have been those of the Kliban Cat. And that's the cat the brilliant EIC of The Daily Drunk chose to illustrate this poem. How did he know? It's absolutely purrrrrrrfect!!

My Flash Fiction Story "Zinnias" Featured in "The Sparrow's Trombone"

What a fabulous surprise! Not only was this story accepted by the awesome literary magazine  The Sparrow's Trombone  a few hours after I submitted it, but it went live less than an hour after that. Wow, right?  This is such a fun magazine! The editor, Jeremy, is a joy to deal with. Such a kind heart!  The magazine is devoted to the surreal and magical realism. I don't write in that genre very often, but I did with this story. And I had great fun doing so.  Enjoy this story. No, it's not what it seems.
