New Website for My Fiction!

Well, it's time. With my latest novella out from   Alien Buddha Press   and so many literary magazines around the world publishing my flash fiction stories, I really needed to create a separate website for my fiction.  So that's exactly what I did today! If you'd like the latest news about my novels and novellas and short stories, this is the place to go! www.laurastampsfiction.blogspot.com

My Flash Fiction Story "Zinnias" Featured in "The Sparrow's Trombone"

What a fabulous surprise! Not only was this story accepted by the awesome literary magazine  The Sparrow's Trombone  a few hours after I submitted it, but it went live less than an hour after that. Wow, right?  This is such a fun magazine! The editor, Jeremy, is a joy to deal with. Such a kind heart!  The magazine is devoted to the surreal and magical realism. I don't write in that genre very often, but I did with this story. And I had great fun doing so.  Enjoy this story. No, it's not what it seems. But that's what makes it such a fun read!  ZINNIAS by Laura Stamps — The Sparrow's Trombone (thesparrowstrombone.com)

My Micro Fiction Story "Voices" Featured in "Punk Noir Magazine"

What a wonderful surprise!! Instead of my micro fiction story VOICES appearing in the fabulous Punk Noir Magazine next week, the editor, Stephen Gold, decided to surprise me and publish it today. Wow! No wonder I adore him so much. And it's n o wonder Stephen is one of my favorite editors, and Punk Noir Magazine is one of my favorite literary magazines. This story is a little different. It's empowering like all my stories, but rather intense, because it’s about a woman in an abusive relationship suffering from chronic PTSD and how a person has to move through that process toward healing. Enjoy! Voices by Laura Stamps – Punk Noir Magazine
