What a wonderful surprise to see one of my PTSD poems, SUNLIGHT featured in the fabulous literary  magazine, the Amethyst Review!   I cannot say enough good things about this gorgeous faith-filled literary journal. My wacky cat poem WHO'S THE BOSS? just went live in The Daily Drunk literary magazine. And the amazing editor, Shawn Berman, has done it again. What a great photo to illustrate this one!!!! My hilarious cat poem DRESSED FOR STRESS just went live in one of my fav literary magazines, The Daily Drunk . I'm back at PetSmart in this one, shopping for my cat herd, specifically my tuxie, Petunia. The EIC of this entertaining literary magazine has done it again. The illustration he used for this poem is a hoot! Shawn is absolutely brilliant at choosing illustrations for my poems that always make me smile or laugh out loud. This one is no exception.  If you're a cat lover, you know what I'm talking about in this poem. I think we've all been in this situation with our cats. Bravo to any cat owner who can succeed at it. My poem THE PLUS SIDE just went live in the amazingly funny and wonderful lit mag The Daily Drunk.  I LOVE LOVE LOVE the cat illustration for this one. Why? Because ever since I was a little girl my fav cat illustrations have been those of the Kliban Cat. And that's the cat the brilliant EIC of The Daily Drunk chose to illustrate this poem.  My poem ANXIETY is now live in the current issue of Selcouth Station literary magazine! This poem is from my novella-in-verse chapbook, HIDDEN PAIN , which tells the story of a woman suffering from PTSD after years of chronic trauma caused by four abusive, narcissistic men in her life. I wanted to write a book that would help survivors of trauma and PTSD (anxiety, panic attacks, depression, etc.) find healing.  Selcouth Station is a fabulous magazine and small press run by the sweetest EIC. Okay, the EIC of The Daily Drunk lit mag really outdid himself this time with the illustration for my hysterically funny poem, THE FIX.  Notice the heads on the yellow jacket bees.
