Get ready to laugh like crazy with this one. So funny! And true, of course. I have to admit I laughed out loud when I saw the illustration the EIC chose for this cat poem, THE KEY TO ENLIGHTENMENT. My Flash Fiction Story "Zinnias" Featured in "The Sparrow's Trombone"

What a fabulous surprise! Not only was this story accepted by the awesome literary magazine  The Sparrow's Trombone  a few hours after I submitted it, but it went live less than an hour after that. Wow, right?  This is such a fun magazine! The editor, Jeremy, is a joy to deal with. Such a kind heart!  The magazine is devoted to the surreal and magical realism. I don't write in that genre very often, but I did with this story. And I had great fun doing so.  Enjoy this story. No, it's not what it seems.
