New Website for My Fiction!

Well, it's time. With my latest novella out from   Alien Buddha Press   and so many literary magazines around the world publishing my flash fiction stories, I really needed to create a separate website for my fiction.  So that's exactly what I did today! If you'd like the latest news about my novels and novellas and short stories, this is the place to go! www.laurastampsfiction.blogspot.com

My Microfiction Stories "Consciousness" and "The Question" Featured in "The Birdseed"

Last night the second issue of The Birdseed went live, and I'm blessed to have two microfiction stories in this one: CONSCIOUSNESS and THE QUESTION.  I love this literary magazine!! I love it because the editor, Courtney, is just the sweetest soul on the planet. I love it because it's so lovingly and beautifully designed. You'll see when you click on the link. It's very clean and fresh. It almost has a Zen feel to it. And I love it because it's a microfiction magazine with only one rule. No story in it can be more than 150 words. And you know how much I LOVE that kind of writing challenge!! Enjoy these little stories and happy reading... Consciousness / The Question – The Birdseed (the-birdseed.com)

My Micro Fiction Story "Voices" Featured in "Punk Noir Magazine"

What a wonderful surprise!! Instead of my micro fiction story VOICES appearing in the fabulous Punk Noir Magazine next week, the editor, Stephen Gold, decided to surprise me and publish it today. Wow! No wonder I adore him so much. And it's n o wonder Stephen is one of my favorite editors, and Punk Noir Magazine is one of my favorite literary magazines. This story is a little different. It's empowering like all my stories, but rather intense, because it’s about a woman in an abusive relationship suffering from chronic PTSD and how a person has to move through that process toward healing. Enjoy! Voices by Laura Stamps – Punk Noir Magazine

My Flash Fiction Story "Mangoes" Featured in "Downtown Archive"

My flash fiction story MANGOES also appeared today in the beautiful literary magazine Downtown Archives . What fun! I have to admit this is one of my favorite stories. I love all the subtle layers as the story unfolds, as well as its empowering message. Again, the illustration the editor chose for it is perfect!  Enjoy this story. I think you'll see why I like it so much! Mangoes - Downtown Archive (downtown-archive.com)

My Flash Fiction Story "Tats" Featured in "Downtown Archive"

What a wonderful Monday this is turning out to be! I woke up this morning to two of my stories published in the beautiful new literary magazine Downtown Archive.   I love the illustration the editor used to illustrate TATS. So pretty in pink! This was a fun story to write. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed writing it! TATS - Downtown Archive (downtown-archive.com)

My flash fiction story THE MIRACULOUS MEDAL just appeared in the Agape Review .  What a fabulous surprise to come back to my office this afternoon and find not only the acceptance email but that it had already been published in this beautiful literary journal. And don't you love the way the editors illustrated it? The image of the Miraculous Medal is perfect!  Enjoy this story. It's one of my favorites! The Miraculous Medal – Agape Review

My Micro Fiction Story "Graveyard Shift" Featured Today in "Six Sentences"

Today my micro fiction story GRAVEYARD SHIFT is featured in one my favorite literary magazines, Six Sentences.   I've said it before, and I'll say it again. I LOVE the concept of this magazine!! What a fun challenge to tell an entire short story in only six sentences. It just doesn't get any better than that.  And, yes. This story is another one of my humorous zingers. The ending makes me laugh every time. Enjoy! Six Sentences: Flash Fiction, Micro Fiction, Writing Contests and More (Writer's Digest 101 Best)
