My Micro Fiction Story "What is Joy?" Featured in "Six Sentences"

My wacky little micro fiction story WHAT IS JOY? just went live in Six Sentences. What a wonderful surprise! I LOVE the concept of this mag. It features micro stories composed of only six sentences. I almost didn't submit. I thought my story might be too quirky. Many thanks to the awesome EIC for liking it enough to include it in the July issue. Yes, he totally made my Saturday.  Enjoy this story!

My Flash Fiction Story "Zinnias" Featured in "The Sparrow's Trombone"

What a fabulous surprise! Not only was this story accepted by the awesome literary magazine  The Sparrow's Trombone  a few hours after I submitted it, but it went live less than an hour after that. Wow, right?  This is such a fun magazine! The editor, Jeremy, is a joy to deal with. Such a kind heart!  The magazine is devoted to the surreal and magical realism. I don't write in that genre very often, but I did with this story. And I had great fun doing so.  Enjoy this story. No, it's not what it seems.
